one year

musical

a friend is putting together a musical, and i've been asked to help with the set design.
now, to clear the air...yes, i have taken a couple theatre design classes...
but that's all.
i've never ever actually had to build the entire set.
so as much as it is a huge challenge,
i'm thinking and hoping i'll learn a lot and have a lot of fun.

so today was the first official meeting and i've got to say, i'm impressed.
he's gotten people to help him to make this production from scratch.
everything from the choreography to the music is being written and made.
anyway, due to the meeting i went to 한빛 today,
and i've gotta admit, it was good seeing some old faces :)
since the meetings are gonna be on sundays,
i think i'll be going to hanbit for the rest of my stay in san diego.

after service, i stopped by and picked up some necessities. namely, a rechargeable electronic toothbrush, hair dryer, mouth wash, and yarn(?). ok, so yarn's not a necessity, but i turned the corner and yes, i just needed it.

now i'm home, waiting for a phone call about dinner arrangements, crocheting, and i need to read over the script for the musical.

looks like i'm going to be a bit busier from now, but i definitely want to see it through and do a good job.

the guest speaker for the service today really spoke to my heart. i hope that it won't just be another good sermon wasted.

honestly, i suck at blogs.

hopefully this one will work out.
especially since i should be at work, but i'm at home doing this.

so now, i shall...
take a shower,
have a bowl of cereal,
grab my keys,
and get to work.
